Two-Party Threaded Chat Demo

You need to enable JavaScript for this demo to run.

Type in either of the entry fields to simulate a threaded one-on-one chat session:

Type the Enter key to send text.
A message arriving while you are still typing starts a new thread.
Type the < key to merge the current thread with the last one (to subsume the last message(s) under your current answer).
Reload the page (ususally F5) to reset the conversation.
The transcript shows how the threaded conversion might look in a non-threaded chat tool.
